From February 18^th to March 29^th, 2026, Puente Genil will experience Lent intensely as part of the Caminos de Pasión (Paths of Passion) cultural route, a unique opportunity to discover the essence of Holy Week in inland Andalusia.

During these weeks, locals and visitors alike will share an atmosphere filled with emotion, faith, and popular culture. Lent is the perfect time to experience the Holy Week traditions firsthand: Stations of the Cross, processions, proclamations, concerts of processional marches, saeta (religious song) recitals, and the emblematic ascent to Calvary by the biblical brotherhoods every Saturday.
