Saint Mark’s Day 2026 in Puente Genil: Evening Celebration and Pilgrimage.

Puente Genil is willing to celebrate its San Marcos Pilgrimage next weekend, a must-see event for lovers of Sevillanas and a great atmosphere.

📅Friday, April 24^th – Evening celebration before the pilgrimage

Celebrations begin on April 24^th with a mass at the Church of San Francisco de las Asunción at 9:00 p.m., officiated by the town’s archpriest, Father Juan Ropero. The ceremony will feature musical accompaniment by the Raíces Pontanas Choir and a dance performance by Carmen Rivas‘s group from the Los Pinos Active Participation Center.

Then we will continue in Garrotalillo Park, where locals and visitors will enjoy a concert by Pop Grasa and music by DJ Cano, playing the best hits of all time in a unique festive atmosphere. 💃🍷

📅 Saturday, April 25^th – Saint Mark’s Pilgrimage.

The pilgrimage will depart at 10:00 AM from the Hospital Church, following the usual route, stopping at Our Lady of the Forsaken, next to the Castellares Association, and finally, in Los Jarales Square.
