Contracultura association is organizing the 16th edition of Cortogenial 2025 from October 17th to 25th at the Teatro Circo in Puente Genil.
The 16th edition of the Puente Genil Film and Short Film Festival pays tribute to the unmistakable David Lynch (1946–2025), master of the surreal, the dreamlike, and the emotional. His creative universe inspires this year’s visual identity, where dream and reality go hand in hand.
The poster is the work of artist Felix Espejo, who reinterprets this Lynchian imagery with a visual proposal that invites us to look beyond the surface.
In terms of awards, Cortogenial will maintain the same prize amounts, with a first prize of 800 euros, a second prize of 500 euros, and a special public prize of 400 euros. Likewise, an award will be given for the best national film, and the RTVA award will be maintained, with the incentive of subsequent broadcast on Andalusian public television platforms and channels.
From October 17 to 25, Puente Genil will once again become a city of cinema.
