Puente Genil Celebrates “Flamenco November 2025” in Honor of International Flamenco Day.

Puente Genil Town Hall has organized a full program of events to mark International Flamenco Day, which is commemorated on November 16th under the title “Flamenco November 2025.”

From November 8^th to 22^nd, our town will host various free activities combining training, art, reflection, and performances centered around this intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The program kicks off on Saturday, November 8^th, with a guitar masterclass led by Rafael Rodríguez “El Cabeza,” which will be held at the Casino Pontanés as part of the “Fosforito Flamenco Workshop.”

Between November 10^th and 26^th, the “Rafael Botí” Foundation for Visual Arts will present the exhibition “Flamenco Genealogy” by Cordoban painter Julia Hidalgo at the “Alcalde Manuel Baena Jiménez” Cultural Center.

On November 14^th, researcher Miguel Ángel Jiménez will give a lecture entitled “Fosforito, a Masterpiece” at the Multipurpose Space in the Plaza de Abastos del Paseo del Romeral. On November 16^th, one of the most anticipated events will take place: a performance by “El Pele” at the Teatro Circo at 8:00 PM.

The festivities will conclude with flamenco dance masterclasses led by dancer and choreographer Susana Lupiáñez Pinto, known as La Lupi. These classes will be held on November 21^st and 22^nd at the “Sens” Dance Academy in Puente Genil and are open to all levels, from intermediate to advanced.
