The race, celebrating its 36th edition on Sunday, February 1st, is a key event on the provincial and Andalusian calendar and is supported by the Puente Genil Town Hall’s Department of Sports, the Córdoba Provincial Council, the Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sport in Andalusia, and various local athletics clubs (EPA Miguel Ríos, Club de Atletismo Pontanés “Amigos del Canal”, Club Atletismo FIT Tragaluz, and Ocho Picos Trail), which work together to keep alive an event that has been a sporting benchmark in the region and the province of Córdoba for over three decades.
